Savoy Brown was formed by guitarist Kim Simmonds in 1965 in London, England and has been the group’s guiding light from the first releases in 1966 through the band’s newest effort and fortieth album “City Night“. The band early history is a who’s who of English Rock and Blues Players including Roger Earl and Dave Peverett “Lonesome Dave” of Foghat fame and many more. The new record is a collection of energized blues rock like no one else can play it. Featuring Kim Simmonds on vocals with searing lead guitar and including the most consistent line-up in the band’s history going strong for more than 10 years now with Pat DeSalvo bass and Garnet Grimm drums. Released June 7, 2019 the album reached #4 in the Billboard Blues Charts quickly and is hanging on for a hot summer’s ride. Now Available on CD, LP, Digital and Streaming at the Official Quarto Valley Records Store.
